AutoCAD LT was initially offered as part of a bundle which also included the desktop 3D applications of SolidWorks and Inventor. It was introduced to address the market demand for CAD products which incorporated 3D technology, particularly the ability to view, analyze and edit the geometric content of 3D models. The functionality of the 3D module was expanded to enable various AutoCAD-based applications to be used for 3D design and drafting.

3D modeling

3D modeling is the process of creating a representation of a 3D object in a computer using 3D modeling techniques. 3D models can be used to create working models, conceptual models, prototype models, and for animation, virtual prototyping, and virtual production. 3D models can be saved in various file formats, such as, the file format for 3D printing. 3D modeling files may be imported into AutoCAD LT and exported to various file formats. These formats include, the 3D DWG format, 3D DXF, 3D IGES, the STL format, and 3D X-tool.

Converting 2D array of tuples to a list

I want to convert this 2D array:
[[(1, 3), (2, 4)], [(3, 5), (4, 6)], [(5, 7), (6, 8)], [(7, 9), (8, 10)]]

To a list, something like this:
[[(1, 3), (2, 4)], [(3, 5), (4, 6)], [(5, 7), (6, 8)], [(7, 9), (8, 10)]]

I’ve seen some examples of how to do this with lists, like this:
x = [(1, 3), (2, 4)]
y = [x]

I’m not sure how to modify that to work with tuples, but I guess I could convert all the arrays to lists first.


You can iterate over the 2D array and construct a new list from the sublists:
x = [(1, 3), (2, 4)]
y = []

for i in range(len(x)):
y.append([x[i] for x in x[i]])

You could also construct a new 2D array from a list and then convert the new array back to a list:
y = []
z = []

for i in range(len(x)):
x = z
z = []

y_str = [‘,’.join(i) for i in y]
y = [list(i) for i in y_str]

y = [list(i) for i in y]
