AutoCAD architecture is broken into four major categories::

Rendering is the step in which objects are created in 3D, after which they can be viewed in 2D. Rendering is done using specialized 3D graphics software that is bundled with AutoCAD. Rendering is closely related to AutoCAD’s 2D Drafting capability.

Creating is a multi-step process, in which you start from a blank page in which you draw your shapes. Shapes are added to a drawing through the creation of a Feature object. The Feature object is a container that holds the information for one object. After creating a drawing, you can add other objects to the drawing. This process is called Object Creation.

The Operations Toolbar contains the most commonly used commands to edit or create a drawing. In addition to the Operations Toolbar, a drawing also has a Property bar, which contains a number of properties and attributes. Properties are specific to a type of object. Attributes are common to all objects.

The Intersect Selection Tool
The Intersect Selection Tool is a drawing tool used to select objects that can be reused in other drawings. You can also use this tool to create new polygons that are equal to existing polygons.
Each time you select a polygon using the Intersect Selection Tool, a temporary object is created with the name “Intersected object”. When you use the Intersect Selection Tool again, the temporary object disappears and the object you were selecting stays. The shape or object you were selecting cannot be modified or deleted. Locate the application folder and open Autocad.
Select “File” – “Import” – “Mesh (OBJ)”.
Select “Import from file”.
Select the file you want to import and click “Open”.
On the next page, double-click “ACS Mesh Import Settings”.
Select “Generate Shape Keys”.
Next, you will need to run MeshLab. The most recent stable release is version 2.0.2. You can download the latest version of the software here.
Once the software has been installed, you will need to open the GUI in order to import the model.
As shown in the figure, you will have to select the “Import tab”. From there, you will have to use the File – Import Materiels – Mesh.
Then, you will need to select the.obj file, and then you will have to choose the option “Add Zero Vertices”. The next step is selecting which group to be added first (for example, the “Import Group” – the one with the first letter A-F), and in the end you will have to select whether you want to remove the excess vertices, in which case you need to select the “Remove Zero Vertices” option.
Finally, you will need to select the “Mesh Lab” option, and press “Done” in order to create the file.
You can run the software in order to inspect the result.
The end result should be something like this.
As you can see, the model is now ready for additional processings. If you want to, you can remove the wrong vertices or even the whole face if you want, and you will be able to create a more accurate model that you can use for further steps.
Note: I have used the imported model in the next example. It is a 3D visualization of a model of the console that I imported.

We want to help you incorporate text into your designs, and we’re very happy to announce that you can now import any text format from other programs. When you import text, our software uses Office 365 to turn that text into an AutoLISP object, which can be used within AutoCAD’s commands and workflows.
