A huge section of my closet is dedicated to basics. These versatile pieces make up my day-to-day looks because they’re simple and easy to style, but no, simple doesn’t equate to boring. Some of my favorite forward outfits are comprised of simple and no-fuss pieces. I’m referring to looks like an ensemble with a modern jacket, a no-fail gray sweater, a white tee, and trousers. It is to be noted that if I do reach for statement-making pieces, it’s typically a bag or another accessory.
