WHEN THESE DOORS CLOSE NEXT MONTH, IT WILL NOT BE PERMANENT BECAUSE THEN RENOVATIONS WILL BEGIN WITH THE RESTAURANT SALE COMES AN UNDISCLOSED BUYER SET TO TAKE OVER THE PROPERTY WITH A CONCEPT YET TO BE ANNOUNCED. EVERYTHING CHANGES. EVERYTHING MOVES ON. BUT I’LL HAVE GREAT MEMORIES OF CELEBRATING WITH THE SUPER BOWL HERE AND IT’S JUST IT’S KIND OF SENTIMENTAL. IT REALLY IS. IT REALLY HIT ME. MOTHER’S OWNER DAVE RADER TELLS 11 NEWS HIS TEAM IS PROUD OF THEIR DECADES SPENT IN FEDERAL HILL, EARNING VARIOUS ACCOLADES CELEBRATING TWO SUPER BOWL WINS ON THE PURPLE PATIO AND HOSTING COUNTLESS FESTIVITIES. WE’RE GOING TO KEEP GOING WITH OUR BRAND AND AND LOOK AT, YOU KNOW, POTENTIAL LOCATIONS OUT IN THE COUNTIES IN THE FUTURE. AND WE’RE JUST PROUD AND HAPPY AND BLESSED FOR EVERYTHING THAT’S GOING ON HERE. OVER 28 YEARS WITH THE OTHER TWO LOCATIONS IN ARNOLD IN TIMONIUM REMAINING OPEN, HE SAYS MOTHER’S IS READY TO USHER IN A NEW CHAPTER. ME AND MY WIFE KELLY ARE STARTING TO SLOW DOWN MY, YOU KNOW, SON TERRY AND SOME OF THE MANAGERS ARE STARTING TO TAKE ON MORE RESPONSIBILITIES.
